Draft Rebounding, per Beer Institute Package Mix Report

Dear Client:  The Beer Institute has released the newest version of its Packaging Mix Report, last updated in 2020. The mix report details distribution of beer volume by aluminum cans, glass bottles, and kegs (draft).  “The current distribution for 2023 is 64.1% aluminum cans, 26.9% glass bottles, and 8.9% draft,” per announcement.  The exception to that trend lies with imported beer, which remains "predominantly packaged in glass bottles, with 55% of imported beer volume."
