Door Shut on Beer-Harming Bills in NY, Says BI

Dear Client: With summer in full swing, most state legislatures have adjourned for a summer recess, if not for the rest of the year, including New York, which closed up shop last Friday “with no plans to meet until 2027,” per the Beer Institute’s newsletter this morning.  Several bills “that would have harmed beer” in one of the largest beer markets in the country had the door shut on them in Albany, including:  VERMONT GOVERNOR STILL HAS NOT SIGNED EPR
