Distributors on Sam Summer Ale Shortages and Early Octoberfest

Dear Client:Cue the yearly "it's too early for fall seasonals" stance- this time with a twist. Seems Boston Beer had to hold a couple of batches [literally, we heard two] of Sam Adams Summer Ale they didn't deem releasable to the market. One distributor who wished to remain anonymous said Boston handled the Summer Ale situation very well and made a "smooth transition" to the next seasonal.
