Craft Exports Up 4.4% in 2016

Dear Client:U.S. craft beer export volumes were up 4.4% percent last year. They now amount to 465,617 barrels, worth $121 million.That's a deceleration from years past -- last year U.S. craft exports were up 16%, and 36% the year prior -- but of course, it's on a larger base. Last year's exports were worth $116 million.Asia's thirst for American craft continues to climb. The BA reported that U.S. craft exports were up 12.9% in the Asia-Pacific region (not including Japan).
