Dear Client: This morning, Amazon and Whole Foods announced a $13.7 billion deal for the E-commerce giant to acquire the Texas-based grocer with 460 stores across the U.S. Canada and the U.K. Amazon will pay $42 a share in cash for the chain, per official statement.
