Cider Goes From “Red to Black” During Whole Foods’ National Cider Month Program

Dear Client:    Results are in from the first National Cider Month program featured in Whole Foods stores across the country this October. Cider volumes are down overall nationally YTD in scans. At Whole Foods, however, they’re seeing some category lift as of late. “During National Cider Month we saw cider go from the red to the black in terms of dollar and unit growth vs last year (as high as 13%+ and 11%+ respectively),” Whole Foods principal global category merchant
