Dear Client: California is officially proposing turning last year’s emergency regulations banning any detectable amount of THC in hemp products into permanent regulations. On Friday, the California Department of Public Health published a “Notice of Proposed Rulemaking” to make the intoxicating hemp ban permanent, triggering a 45-day written public comment period for stakeholders to voice their concerns/ opinions. (A public hearing on the proposed regulations is also scheduled for July 28.) The proposed regulations would age gate consumable hemp products
