Beer Institute, Brewers Association Submit Wildly Different TTB Comments

Dear Client:  The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB)’s Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking seeking public comment on trade practice regulations is officially closed. More than a couple hundred individuals, politicians and trade organizations submitted comments. Among them, of course, are bev alc industry players and trade associations, though comments submitted just up until the deadline last week are still trickling in on the TTB’s website.  Unsurprisingly, the Brewers Association and Beer Institute see a few things differently.
