Andy Thomas: “Isn’t it Time We Stop Acting Like 13 Year Olds?”

Dear Client: Craft Brew Alliance chief Andy Thomas took the stage at our Beer Industry Summit earlier this week to address current industry infighting, which has taken many forms. Some of it is "characteristic of an adolescent's prevailing socialization model," he said, including "cliques, name-calling, bullying labeling," and the "mine" mentality. That statement was likely partially motivated by CBA's exclusion from the Brewers Association's craft definition, despite Widmer Brothers Brewing's Kurt and Rob Widmer being among the segment's very founders.
