Allagash, on Beating Craft, and Overall Beer Trends in ‘25

Dear Client:  No doubt, 2025 has been a tough year for beer, and for bev alc, overall.  But while craft is down 7% and overall beer is down 5% YTD through 9/30 (per Beer Institute's depletions data), 30-year-old Maine-based craft brewer Allagash is down only 2% YTD, company brass shared on a press call this morning.  “We're down just a little bit, no question,” Allagash founder Rob Tod said. “We are absolutely beating beer trends and absolutely beating craft trends.
