After Securing Trademark, Christine Celis Resurrects Celis Brewery

Dear Client:Last March we reported news that Christine Celis and Mark Rieth of Detroit's Atwater Brewery had inked an agreement to open a new "collaboration brewery" in Austin, dubbed Flemish Fox Brewery & Craftworks.Christine is daughter of Belgian brewer, Pierre Celis, of Celis White fame. Pierre founded Celis Brewing, often posited as Austin's first craft production facility, circa 1992. It was eventually purchased by the Miller Brewing Company and shuttered operations around 2001.The new brewery, Flemish Fox, was slated to
