A-B’s Veza Sur Dodges Deceptive Marketing Suit

Dear Client:    A Florida federal court has dismissed the proposed class action suit brought against Anheuser-Busch subsidiary, Veza Sur Brewing, per a ruling filed yesterday. BACKGROUND. Recall it was right around this time last year that the Latin American-inspired, Miami-based craft beer brand, Veza Sur, found itself at the center of the proposed suit.  The complaint, filed by two Miami residents, claimed quite simply that Veza Sur “pretends to be a craft beer made in Miami and with Latin roots.”
