5 Rabbit Sees Another Lawsuit

Dear Client: It was only about a year ago that Chicago's 5 Rabbit's Isaac Showaki left the brewery after co-founder Andres Araya filed a defamation suit against him [see CBD 1-10-2013 ]. Now there's an entirely different suit against the Latin-inspired brewer: Four of Isaac's original investors filed suit in Cook County circuit court last week "alleging a complex scheme to depress 5 Rabbit's value and force out those investors with artificially low financial returns," per the Chicago Tribune yesterday.
