June 5, 2012C-Store Beer Sales Strong Dear Client:Beer posted strong results in c-stores for the four weeks ending May 12, with industry dollar sales up 5.5%, as per a Goldman Sachs report on Nielsen data. It's also the third consecutive period the category has posted over 4% growth. Volumes for the industry were up 2.4% and pricing was up 2.9%.The "major share gainer" this period was Crown Imports, with dollar share improving a half a share point and dollar sales
