Wow

That's how Brewers Association chief Charlie Papazian summed up this year's Craft Conference and BrewExpo in San Diego yesterday. Charlie's the only person I know who gets wild applause just by saying his name. Over 2,200 people were in attendance. One thing that drew a "wow" from me were the amount of first time attendees, hundreds stood up, and a big chunk were people planning new breweries and brewpubs. That's kind of a scary thought that could cut both ways.
