Details Emerge on DBI / Maita Negotiations

Dear Client:That's the question that remains in the Maita / DBI litigation after a judge issued summary judgments on the other points (see BBD 11/05/2009). The trial to decide whether DBI acted in "good faith" during its negotiations late last year with Maita in accordance with California law starts on November 16. As that trial moves on, there's also the pending arbitration set to start in December on what the fair market value of the brands in question is. But
