The U.S. is Out of Beer

Dear Client: That's the most common theme we've gotten from distributors this week (even though my email was down yesterday for several hours).  "We were up for the week of July 4th, but going forward our out-of-stocks will make July a tough month."  That's the most common refrain we are seeing.   It's Molson Coors, Constellation, Mark Anthony, HUSA, and yes, even A-B and Boston Beer.  Several A-B distributors expressed that they experienced more shortages and/or lean inventory than they thought.
