Dear Client: Suntory Global Spirits (formerly Beam Suntory) announced yesterday that it is officially launching its Japanese-inspired vodka seltzer brand, -196, in the U.S. The company is debuting a national campaign alongside the launch called “Unusual Your Usual.” The new campaign plays on the “unique humor and aesthetic of Japan," per release. The spots are filmed on a sound stage in Tokyo and recreate a mock -196 factory to “showcase the exciting, fruit-forward energy” of Suntory’s proprietary Freeze, Crush, Infusion
