Paulaner: Rather Exit Market than Approve A-B Wholesaler

July 11, 2013Dear Client: Recall our early June article reporting Glazer's as suing Paulaner-HP USA in New Orleans federal court [see BBD 06-11-2013 ]. As the story goes, Paulaner refused to approve the sale of its distribution rights to Southern Eagle, and now Glazer's is asking the judge to issue an injunction "that would require us to let it sell its rights to be our brands' exclusive wholesaler to Southern Eagle," per Paulaner-HP USA president Jeffrey Coleman to BBD. To
