Partial Three-Tier Victory in Tennessee

The victories keep stacking up for three-tier system proponents....well, sort of. This time a federal appeals court upheld Tennessee's ban on direct wine shipments to consumers. The opinion from the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati said federal law allows Tennessee to prohibit wineries from selling directly to consumers without going through distributors.
