Lacking direction from the Feds, the state of Oregon has decided to start enforcing its malt beverage regulations regarding alcohol content. The law states that malt beverages may contain no more than 0.5% alcohol content from distilled spirits. The state has said it will start enforcing the law on January 1, 2005.
