May 20, 2013Dear Client: Yes, it's over line extensions. Stella Artois Cidre appears to be the last straw. Recall we wrote about this before (see BBD 02-06-2013 ). It seems that McCraith Beverages, a Coors-Yuengling-Pabst-All Other distributor across the state of New York, is not happy that A-B has assigned the line extensions to several legacy InBev brands to the A-B distributors. Problem is, according to McCraith, is that New York law prohibits a brewer from modifying a distributor agreement
