NBWA Kicks Off in San Diego

October 15, 2012Dear Client:The 75th National Beer Wholesalers Association convention kicked off yesterday in San Diego. Yes, as expected, the MillerCoors/Chesbay/Reyes issue has been top of mind. NBWA issued a resolution which "deplores recent actions by some brewers calling into question the legitimacy of state laws and seeking to undermine a state's ability to regulate alcohol." By "some brewers" in this case they mean MillerCoors, which is "seeking to preempt Virginia state beer franchise law in federal court through litigation
