Manhattan Beer Sells InBev to A-B

Big New York distributor Manhattan Beer sold its InBev volume to Anheuser-Busch, it was announced Friday. No word on the price, but the buzz on the street is that it was a pretty penny. Manhattan Beer was InBev's largest distributor at over 2 million cases. MBC president Simon Bergson told employees that they will replace the lost volume in just over a year at current growth rates, and besides, they are on the hunt for new brands all the time.
