Dear Client: California lawmakers have officially moved to kick intoxicating hemp-derived products out of mainstream retail, passing Assembly Bill 8 and sending it to Gov. Gavin Newsom’s desk. The measure would ban delta-8 THC and delta-10 THC (considered synthetic), and classify all concentrated cannabinoids derived from hemp, other than CBD isolate, as cannabis products.
