While people in the industry often talk about brewing capacity, we sometimes forget that distributors have capacity issues too. Distributors often operate at full capacity during normal summer days. So when we have these intense peak holiday periods (Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, New Year's, and Super Bowl, not to mention the on-premise holidays of St. Patty's and Halloween), distributors are often operating at 110% to 200% capacity utilization, which means everybody is working beyond the call of duty
