Interbrew and Femsa Get Divorced

It's official. Interbrew and FEMSA announced early Monday morning the unwinding of their interests in Labatt USA and Interbrew's interest in Femsa. Femsa's Mexican brands, which include Dos XX, Tecate, Carta Blanca, and Bohemia, will not be imported by Labatt USA anymore, but will be reassigned to Femsa's US subsidiary, Wisdom Import Sales, (as predicted here, although Wisdom could choose at a later date to hook up with another brewer/importer).THE DEAL.
