Industry Has Better July

Beer in general is having a great month. In the four weeks to July 13, IRI scans show the category is up 2.4%. MillerCoors lost a half a share point, with Miller volume down 2.5% and Coors volume up 6.5%, which is just a continuation of recent trends. A-B trends are seen below.While craft volume gains have slowed from last year, the category is holding up with plus 8.8% trends in IRI supermarket scans (again, four weeks to July 13).
