Indiana Case Handed Down

ear Client:The Seventh Circuit US appellate court handed down a direct shipping ruling yesterday which backs Indiana's right to oblige consumers to have a face-to-face transaction with a winery before it can ship direct to him/her. However, the court did not hold up Indiana's law prohibiting wineries from shipping direct to Indiana residents if they hold a wholesale license in another state.The plaintiffs don't contend that the two laws discriminate on their face, but the practical effect of the laws
