Imports up 4% for May; Mexican Beer up Only 1.6%

Dear Client: May imports were up, but not as robustly as in previous months: May was up almost 4% while YTD numbers were up almost 10%, to 13.3 million barrels total. Compare that to April's more than 7% growth, which had bolstered YTD up 11.3%. The previous months outpaced May as well. That may be because Mexican imports have steadily slowed their growth trends in the last few months, even as we get deeper into summer. YTD, Mexican imports are
