Imports Down in January

Imported beer shipments were down -0.4% in January, reflecting the new higher prices for Corona for part of the month, according to Beer Institute numbers.Mexican imports were down a big -4.5% on a large base, while Netherlands imports, mostly Heineken, were up 10.3%. Those numbers seem to suggest that Heineken is benefiting from Corona's increase in price, which isn't surprising.
