Dear Client:Imported beer volumes were down almost 8% in April 2017, the Beer Institute reported Friday. They're just barely up YTD, now, at 0.2% growth.The Beer Institute attributed the dip to "continued imbalances in distributor inventories."In fact, all the top import countries were down.Mexican imports were down more than 9% for the month, bringing the segment's YTD volumes down 1.4%.Dutch beer, otherwise up 3% YTD, was down 6.7% for April.
