HUSA on Fire in First Half

Heineken reported a triumphant first half, particularly in the US. Heineken NV reported a 14% rise in first-half operating profit, beating forecasts, after strong sales growth in the Americas and eastern Europe. Heineken USA brands grew 19% (excluding FEMSA). Total Heineken (including Light) brand volume in the US was 23%, with Heineken brand up 8%.
