Dear Client: Gallup’s latest annual Consumption Habits survey brings about a double whammy for U.S. alcohol, as the poll shows that drinking is at an all-time low in its tracking, and perception that alcohol is bad for one’s health is at an all-time high. Just 54% of U.S. adults now say they drink, the lowest share in Gallup’s 85-year history of tracking the trend.
