Hiked Import Investments, Strike Effects, Category Health Concerns Headline BBD Summer Wholesaler Survey

Dear Client:  Last week, BBD polled its wholesaler readership on key benchmarks and sentiments as we look to the major beer-selling period. BBD's Summer Wholesaler Survey polled just under 70 wholesalers (covering 49% Molson Coors houses, and 38% A-B wholesalers, with almost 12% identifying primarily as Constellation houses).  Major themes include concern for category health, higher inventories due to real or threatened strikes going into the summer, and more investment in imports.  And even though about half as many respondents
