Heineken USA Testing Footprint Leverage of Hot New Brand

Heineken USA is attempting to shake and bake their footprint a bit in a few markets, using the leverage of a hot new line extension, Heineken Premium Light, to initiate distributor changes, apparently. HUSA has assigned Heineken Light, clearly a line extension of Heineken, to competing HUSA distributors in a handful of markets, which is seen as a somewhat risky move legally in some states as line extensions are generally believed to automatically go to the distributor handling the mother
