Heineken Names Andy Thomas as New President

Heineken USA today announced that another young'un, Andrew J. Thomas, 38, has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of the company, succeeding Frans van der Minne who returns to Amsterdam after five years in the position. Andrew is the first American to head the U.S. business unit since the Van Munchings. Effective later this year, Andy's appointment returns him to Heineken USA, where he started his career with Heineken in 1995 under Michael Foley. He was transferred to Heineken
