Getting the ABI – Modelo Deal Done

April 29, 2013 Dear Client: AB InBev has tied some loose knots on the acquisition of Grupo Modelo's affiliates. They announced on Thursday it had completed the mergers of Diblo and Direccion de Fabricas into Grupo Modelo. ABI will tender an offer to acquire all the outstanding shares of Grupo Modelo at a price of $9.15 a share. A-B InBev struck a deal in June to pay $20.1 billion to buy the half of Modelo that it didn't already own.
