Fuhrer Wholesale Moves on Rolling Rock

Pennsylvania A-B distributor Frank B. Fuhrer Wholesale has struck a tentative agreement to acquire the rights to Rolling Rock in the Latrobe area. A newspaper over the weekend reports that Fuhrer is purchasing the rights from Barkley Distributing. Interestingly, Fuhrer is also purchasing Labatt's from Barkley. It's been said that Fuhrer has contacted other Rock distributors, both inside and outside of their A-B territory, about acquiring the rights.The deal has many in the industry thinking that Fuhrer moved in anticipation
