Federal Judge Strikes Massachusetts’ Law

A federal appellate judge -- federal mind you -- struck down a commonwealth of Massachusetts' law -- which was put in place by the representatives of the people of Massachusetts -- to limit direct shipping to consumers by forcing wineries over 30k gallons to chose between going through their three-tier system, or shipping direct. The Court says: "We hold that (the law) violates the Commerce Clause because the effect of its particular gallonage cap is to change the competitive balance
