Europeans have been enduring the worst heat wave in decades, and it is causing a run on beer in the region. While European brewers have faced a terrible first half of the year, the heat wave has caused an extra 3 million pints to be consumed in Britain alone last weekend, according to a trade group. Beer sales are apparently shooting through the roof.Some European brewers are scrambling to keep up with the unexpected demand as out-of-stocks are running rampant.
