DOJ / ABI Consent Decree Sunsets Today

Dear Client: Today, Monday, July 20, 2026, is the day the Department of Justice's consent decree with AB InBev expires. It's hard to believe it was ten years ago to the day the DOJ provisionally approved ABI's purchase of SABMiller, jettisoning MillerCoors to Molson Coors, provided that ABI abided by certain conditions for ten years, [see BBD 07-20-2016].  The next day, BBD led with the title:  The DOJ’s ABI Concessions: Puss or Boots? I'm not sure what that title even
