It looks like the package innovations and heavy ad rotations are working for the Rocky Mountain brewer, as Coors Light seems to be the only domestic mainstream brewer on a roll going into Labor Day.For the four weeks ending August 13, IRI supermarket scans show Coors overall volumes up 2%, while Miller volumes slipped 4.3% and A-B's fell 2.5%. True, Coors has easier comps this side of the year, but clearly some sales and marketing execution is coming into play.
