Coors Draws Line in the Sand: “There is Nothing Further to Discuss”

Coors sent another memo yesterday to distributors reiterating its position on Miller's distributor agreement addendum, the so-called Third Amendment. In a nutshell, Coors is holding their ground, as they have the current signed and approved contract on their side. Their position is that their contract has been in existence in its current form since 1997, it was jointly created by Coors and distributors, including Miller distributors, and the same negotiation rights have been in the Coors' agreement since 1989.THE ISSUE.
