Dear Client: In a down on-premise, a surprising and not-so-surprising pair of beer segments have emerged as the outperformers in the channel, according to a new report from NIQ’s CGA. Indeed, the report states that sales of below premium beer and imports are “holding up well” in the on-premise (where total beer sales are down 0.7% in dollars and down 5.7% in volume in the 12 months to the end of January).
