Carlos Fernandez Resigns from A-B Board

A-B announced today that Grupo Modelo chief Carlos Fernandez resigned from the Anheuser-Busch board, just before that board is set to meet today as we speak. The resignation was expected given his conflict of interest when considering the InBev deal. The last thing Modelo wants to do is to get into the middle of the A-B - InBev negotiations (and later be sued for any role it played either way).
