Caffeinated Malts Dodge Another Bullet

Dear Client:Caffeinated alcohol malt beverage drinks like Joose and Four Loko dodged another bullet yesterday as the California statehouse considered a bill which would have banned those drinks in the state. As you'll recall, the California Beer and Beverage Distributors of California, Calis beer distributors, came out against the bill as the Big Brewers were neutral. There was a scant showing at the hearing, but nonetheless it didn't pass: Four votes yes to ban, and 12 no to not ban.
