Dear Client:While supermarkets only took a slight hit in IRI scans over the Independence Day holiday, c-stores took a disproportionate hit, with beer sales down 7% for the two weeks ending July 5. That may explain one reason MillerCoors outperformed A-B in overall scanner data for the holiday, as A-B has a disproportionately high share in c-stores.
