Dear Client: Mockler Beverage family, a big, Louisiana-based A-B/Constellation house, has bought 4-million case Southwest Beverage in a deal that closed early last week. The transaction brings the wholesaler's total footprint (which includes Southern Eagle in New Orleans) to a 15 million-case wholesaler with 600-plus employees, operating in 29.5 parishes.
