Bev Alc Back to Regular Bad in Latest Scans

Dear Client:  After posting one of the least bad summer weeks so far [see BBD 08-20-2025], trends are back to "regular bad" in the latest week of Circana scans to August 17. Beer category dollars declined 2.7% in the latest week to 8/17 vs. a -0.9% decline in the week prior (to 8/10). Wine drifted further in the red too, logging a dollar decline of 5.5% in the latest week, compared to a 4.1% decline in the previous week.  Spirits,
